Our very own Director of Membership Katie DeVito has been leading a very exciting life lately! Katie along with Lamar Graham, Executive Editor of Parade Magazine, spoke to Harry Smith on The Early Show and gets some advice for job seekers.

Katie has been working with PARADE magazine on the “What People Earn” project, which lead to an interview this morning on The Early Show. We encourage you to Become a Fan on the “What People Earn” Facebook Fanpage and watch Katie and others on their quest to find employment.

Also mentioned in the interview is the networking group for out-of-work New Jerseyans that Katie started.  You can find information on the group by searching Twitter for the hashtag #NJunemployed.  The NJ Unemployed group started as a way for individuals who are unemployed in NJ to come together, share experiences, stories and struggles. Katie hopes to bring in employers looking to hire, as well as presenters to speak on resume writing and business etiquette to the group as well.

Personally, we don’t think Katie will be on the job market long!
